Modifying users’ Advanced settings
1) Click the MS tab.
2) Click the Advanced tab.
3) To provision or de-provision mail service for the user, select or clear the MS Settings check box.
b) Enter the message in the Auto-Reply Text field.
c)
• Return original message with Auto-Reply – attaches the original message to the auto-reply message.
• Send reply to the envelope originator – sends the auto-reply message to the envelope originator only.
• Use email address as envelope originator – sends the auto-reply message from the recipient instead of the NULL server address (may be required when a server improperly discards incoming mail from the <> address).
• Send reply unconditionally – sends the auto-reply message without performing any checks. However, the mail server will not send an auto-reply if the envelope originator is a NULL address. This setting cannot be overridden.
• Configure Auto-Reply messages but disable options – if set, the auto-reply message is present and can be managed, but no auto-reply message is sent upon arrival of a new message.
• Send without any MIME structure – formats the auto-reply message without using any MIME structuring information
• International character support – supports international characters in the auto-reply message
• Send single auto-reply message per sender – sends only one auto-reply message to each sender no matter how many messages are received.
• Number of days between replies to the same recipient – If Send single auto-reply message per sender option is specified, sends a single auto-reply message to the same sender per number of days specified. For example, if you specify “3”, a single auto-reply message will be sent every three days.
