Modifying domains
The Add Domain facility creates the domain with the minimum details, such as the various service hosts. You need to set many of the detailed attributes, such as the locale settings and the password settings, after creating the domain using the domain Edit facility. After you make and save your changes, AC sends the changes to FS for provisioning.
To modify a domain:
1)
The configuration details appear on a series of tabbed pages, with the General page appearing by default. The Name field is filled in automatically with the domain name. You cannot modify this field.
Note After adding a domain, this window appears automatically.
2)
a)
For the Language and Country fields, click Choose to set each attribute. A separate window prompts you to select a value.
b)
Select the value you want in the list and click OK. The window closes, returning you to the General tab.
c)
(Optional) In the Variant field enter any variation in the language as required (for example, regional dialects).
Variants are used when the same language has variations based on the country or region.Variants usually specify differences caused by the computing platform. For example, if your company is in Ireland and you want to set a variant for the Irish dialect to specify that the euro is the currency, you would type EURO in the variant field.
3)
4)
In the Invalid Login Limit field, enter the number of invalid login attempts the user can perform before the system locks the user out of their account. The default is 3.

Minimum Lowercase Characters—The minimum number of lowercase characters for user passwords. A value of zero, a negative value, or specifying no value is interpreted as no requirement for lowercase characters.
Reject Username—Selecting this check box indicates that a password cannot contain the username.
Numeric Characters—Selecting this check box indicates that each user password must contain at least one numeric character.
Special Characters—Selecting this check box indicates that each user password must contain at least one special character. You can enter these characters in the field below, or leave the field blank to use the default.
