Changing domain settings for NS
The NS page shows various settings for the Notification Server.
To modify the NS domain settings:
1)
2)
Select or clear the Notification Settings check box to provision or de-provision this service for the domain.
3)
The NS Hosts field lists the hosts available to domain content administrators when provisioning users for this service. The first host in the list refers to the host machine on which the service is running. You cannot remove or modify the names in the list, but you can add extra hosts by clicking Add Hosts.
4)
Default User Directory—The default directory to use as the root of the home directory for users in this domain.
User Directory Format—The format used to generate directory paths for users in this domain. If the default user directory is not set for the domain, then the generation of the home directory path fails. The variables below are recognized. Any other characters in the format string will not be subde-provisionstituted.

Default Notification Options—The notification channels from which users in this domain may receive notifications.
Blackouts—A period of time to suspend a given type of notification. The given notification event type is disabled during the specified time (specified as the time to begin and end suspension: HHMMHHMM). An asterisk (*) suspends all notifications. Supported event types are listed below:

5)
(Optional) Configure a path prefix. The path prefix is the domain prefix added to the default path value. With AC, the path prefix is automatically added to the user’s path followed by the user’s name when adding a user to the domain.
Note If you add path prefixes through FS, the prefix is not automatically added to the user’s path, but must be added manually.
You can set prefixes automatically by editing the ect/FS.xml file. Uncomment the following line:
<!-- <PathTemplate file="etc/PathTemplate.xml"/> -->
Prefixes will then be automatically added based on the content of the PathTemplate.xml file during when you add a domain.
6)
Click Save Changes.
