Changing domain settings for MSE
You can change some domain settings for Messaging Search Engine (MSE).
To modify the MSE domain settings
1)
Click the MSE tab.
2)
Select or clear the MSE settings check box to provision or de-provision this service for the domain.
3)
The MSE Hosts field lists the hosts available to domain content administrators when provisioning users for this service. The first host in the list refers to the host machine on which the service is running. You cannot remove or modify the names in the list, but you can add extra hosts by clicking Add Hosts.
4)
In the Directory Format field, you can specify a per-domain format string that will advise how to generate user mailbox directory path names. If this attribute is present with a non-empty string, when a new mailbox is created, the directory pathname is created by substituting variables specified in the format string. The following variables are recognized:
5)
In the Media Crawler Plugin field, you can specify the data crawler plugin to be used for all users in this domain. This setting is available at COS level, which would override this value. The value is a list of comma-separated data crawler plug-ins supported by the server.
6)
In the Excluded Mail Folders section, you can add, edit, or remove mail folders that you want to exclude from the indexing process for searches:
To add a folder, click Add, specify the name of the folder to be excluded, and then click OK.
To edit a folder, click the folder, then click Edit. Edit the name as required and then click OK.
7)
Click Save Changes.
